Céline Martin joined IREX Europe in March 2020 where she manages projects focusing on Media Literacy, Human Rights and Freedom of Expression.
Céline holds a Bachelor in Law and Political Sciences and a Master’s in Public Law, European Law and International Law from Reims-Champagne-Ardenne Université in France. She also holds a Research LL.M. in Humanitarian Law and Action and a Postgraduate degree on Human Rights in Practice from the International Humanitarian Studies Institute (Aix-Marseille Université). Finally, Céline holds a Doctorate in Public Law from Aix-Marseille Université looking into “Regional protection(s) of human rights in Asia: Towards an Asian Human Rights Court?”.
Prior to joining IREX Europe, Céline collaborated with various local civil society organisations in Cambodia as well as with think tanks and universities working in Southeast Asia. She focused on projects on access to legal information, access to justice, corruption, LGBTIQ rights and the protection of Human Rights Defenders.
